Céline Dion’s return to full-length live performance continued in Paris with a second residency show that placed more attention on the music itself.
During the September 16 concert, Dion appeared increasingly comfortable onstage as she moved through a set that mixed major English-language hits with songs from her French catalog. The performance came one night after an emotional opening show that marked her return to full concerts following a six-year absence.
Fans heard signature songs including The Power of Love and All By Myself, along with an operatic performance that highlighted Dion’s vocal range. The crowd of more than 30,000 responded enthusiastically throughout the evening.
