KISS has returned to the Top Album Sales top 10 with KISS Destroys Anaheim ’76, an archival live release documenting one of the band’s major early concerts. New chart data shows the album debuting at No. 8, marking the group’s highest position on the chart since Monster reached No. 3 in 2012.
The release arrives as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of KISS’ August 20, 1976 performance at Anaheim Stadium in California. Anniversary release details confirm the concert has been newly mixed from the original recordings and issued officially across physical and digital formats.
The show took place during the band’s Spirit of ’76 Tour and drew about 42,000 fans, the largest crowd KISS had played for at that point in its career.
