Baker Boy was one of the biggest winners at the 2026 National Indigenous Music Awards, taking home three major honors during the ceremony at Darwin Amphitheatre on Saturday.
The awards results confirmed that his second studio album, DJANDJAY, won Album of the Year. His track THICK SKIN, featuring Thelma Plum, Emma Donovan, Kee’ahn and Jada Weazel, earned both Song of the Year and Film Clip of the Year.
The Yolŋu rapper also performed THICK SKIN during the event, with Emma Donovan joining him onstage as a guest. The performance followed a night featuring artists from across Australia’s First Nations music community.
