Billie Joe Armstrong has expanded his signature gear collection with a limited-edition Epiphone guitar and a new Marshall amplifier. The products were introduced through a joint announcement highlighting the Green Day frontman’s long connection to simple, powerful rock equipment.
The guitar is a Radiant Red Epiphone Les Paul Junior, a model closely associated with Armstrong’s playing style. It features a single pickup, a mahogany body and neck, and a straightforward control layout designed for direct, punchy tones.
Marshall’s new 1959BJA Artist Signature amplifier is a hand-wired, 100-watt model inspired by the modified amps Armstrong used during Green Day’s early years. Its sound is tied closely to the sharp guitar tone heard on the band’s 1994 album Dookie.
