The country singer has parted ways with his longtime manager, Gary Borman, following Borman’s decision to retire and close Borman Entertainment after 50 years in business. Urban confirmed the split in a statement, expressing gratitude for their 25-year partnership and calling their time together extraordinary.
Borman, who also represented artists including James Taylor, Faith Hill and The Bee Gees, described his relationship with Urban as similar to that of brothers. He said he would remain a fan and carry forward warm memories from their decades of collaboration.
The move comes as Urban continues touring in support of his latest album, High and Alive. Industry sources say the change in management happened quickly, drawing attention in Nashville given the timing.
