Anthony Geary, the eight-time Daytime Emmy winner who portrayed Luke Spencer on General Hospital, has died at age 78 from complications during a medical procedure. For more than 30 years, Tony has been my friend, my companion, my husband.” Geary joined the ABC soap opera in 1978, playing the street-smart hustler whose romance with Laura Webber became a cultural phenomenon.
