Scarlett Johansson told The Telegraph she doesn’t know if supporting Woody Allen has affected her Hollywood career or personal relationships. “I guess it’s hard to know,” she said. “You never know what the domino effect is, exactly.” The actress, who starred in Allen’s films Match Point (2005), Scoop (2006), and Vicky Christina Barcelona (2008), previously defended him in 2019, telling The Hollywood Reporter “I love Woody. I believe him, and I would work with him anytime.” Allen faces longstanding sexual abuse allegations from daughter Dylan Farrow, who claims the incidents occurred when she was 7 years old. Allen has repeatedly denied all allegations and has never been officially charged. Johansson noted her mother encouraged her to “have integrity, and stand up for what you believe in” while acknowledging “sometimes it’s just not your time.” (Story URL)
