The LAPD has classified the investigation into the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose decomposed body was found in the trunk of singer D4vd’s Tesla in Hollywood Hills, as a murder probe. Detective Joshua Byers categorized the case as an “investigation into murder,” with Rivas’ autopsy findings now sealed due to a court order, as details surrounding her death could jeopardize the homicide investigation. Rivas, a missing teen from Lake Elsinore, was discovered in September after her family reported her missing earlier in the year. D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, is now considered a suspect in the case, with the musician on tour out of state when his Tesla, emitting a foul odor, was towed on September 5, after being parked for weeks in the affluent Bird Streets neighborhood of Hollywood Hills. The Medical Examiner’s office says additional “information will be made available once the court order is lifted.” (Rolling Stone)
