Florence + the Machine’s new album, Everybody Scream, debuted at No. 1 on six Billboard album charts – including Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, Top Alternative Albums, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, and Indie Store Album Sales – while also reaching No. 4 on the all-genre Billboard 200 and No. 2 on Vinyl Albums. With this milestone, Florence Welch’s band ties Brandi Carlile for the most No. 1s for a woman-led act on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart since 2006, with each artist scoring five chart-toppers. Everybody Scream earned 56,000 equivalent units in its first week ending November 6, including a career-high 25,000 vinyl sales. Additionally, three tracks from the record charted on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, with “Sympathy Magic” debuting at No. 28 and “One of the Greats” launching at No. 44, while the title track reaches a new peak of No. 30 on the tally, as it simultaneously sits at No. 12 on Alternative Airplay and climbs to a new high of No. 2 on Adult Alternative Airplay.
