During their show on Wednesday night (September 24) at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena, Sleep Token shocked fans by performing a stripped-down solo keyboard cover of Bruce Springsteen’s 1984 classic, “Dancing in the Dark.” This marked the very first time that the masked UK rock band played the song live, likely inspired by the city’s proximity to Springsteen’s home state of New Jersey, or The Boss’ own ode to the city, “Streets of Philadelphia.” Sleep Token are currently touring the U.S. on an instantly sold-out arena run which concludes on October 11th in Los Angeles. The live sets are featuring songs primarily from the band’s recent albums, 2023’s Take Me Back to Eden, and 2025’s Even in Arcadia, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart when it was released in May, marking the biggest sales week for a hard rock album in over two years.
