Yusuf/Cat Stevens took to Instagram on Friday (September 21) to warn fans that his upcoming U.S. tour scheduled to begin in early October is in “serious jeopardy” due to significant delays in obtaining performance visas for himself and his band. Yusuf advised fans to hold off on travel plans until they receive official confirmation, emphasizing that his team is working urgently with authorities to resolve the issue. “We’ve prepared something truly special for my American audience, but this is out of our hands,” Yusuf shared. The tour, supporting the 77-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s upcoming memoir, Cat on the Road to Findout, was set to feature intimate performances alongside personal discussions of the book, but its future remains uncertain as visa processing continues to stall. The artist promises to “share news the moment we have it” as they “fight to keep the ‘Peace Train’ on its tracks.” (Rolling Stone)
