A representative for Phil Collins has denied rumors that the 74-year-old drummer is receiving hospice care, but confirmed he is currently hospitalized following knee surgery. The unsubstantiated social media reports claiming Collins was in hospice care went viral last week. However, his representative clarified to TMZ that this information is untrue. Collins has been open about his ongoing health challenges in recent years. A 2007 spinal injury resulted in nerve damage that has prevented him from drumming. In an earlier interview this year, Collins stated he had considered recording new music but was unable to do so because he had been “very sick.” (Consequence)
