In Milan, Italy on Thursday night (July 3), Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band concluded their extensive world tour, which spanned 29 months and 130 concerts across Europe and North America. They finished the show with a special rendition of John Fogerty’s “Rockin’ All Over the World,” which has become a standard final song during the band’s tour finales dating back to 2009. The tour closer marked what appears to be the end of an era for Springsteen, with the 75-year-old music icon hinting at shorter but more frequent run of shows in the future. “Rather than do a 130-show stretch,” the Boss recently told Rolling Stone, “which we did this time because we had been off for six years, so I had to get back in touch with my audience. In the future, I think we’ll probably play more often and less dates.” (Rolling Stone)
