Netflix is in the early stages of developing a reboot of the classic series Land Of The Lost, with original series co-creators Sid and Marty Krofft on board as executive producers. Deanna Krofft Pope will also produce the series, which will be produced by Legendary Television. The original show, which premiered in 1974 and ran for three seasons on NBC, followed the adventures of the Marshall family as they navigated an alternate dimension filled with dinosaurs and strange creatures. Despite its short initial run, “Land of the Lost” has garnered a cult following over the years. This reboot is part of Netflix’s strategy to revive older TV series, following recent projects like a pilot for a Different World follow-up and a new Little House On The Prairie adaptation. (Variety)
