Weezer bassist Scott Shriner’s wife, Jillian Lauren, was charged with attempted murder after firing a gun during a police manhunt in Los Angeles. Police were searching for three suspects when Lauren emerged from her home and began firing her weapon, possibly targeting one of the suspects. After ignoring commands to drop the gun, police shot and injured her. She surrendered to police after 30 minutes and was charged with attempted murder. One suspect was apprehended, while two remain at large. Lauren, a best-selling author, has been married to Shriner since 2005 and they have two adopted sons. Weezer is scheduled to perform at Coachella this weekend. (COS)
