In a new interview with Chuck Armstrong on Friday’s (November 8) edition of Loudwire Nights, Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan shared what the future plans are for the hard rock legends. While McKagan is currently on a run of solo tour dates, he says that next year he will shift his focus back to his main band. “I mean, 2025’s going to be Guns,” McKagan says. “That doesn’t mean I don’t stop recording in my studio here, but it’s going to be a GN’R year. More to be revealed, but we’re just figuring it out right now.” In addition to his solo shows, McKagan is also excited to release a new LP, Live at Easy Street, on Record Store Day Black Friday. The live record was recorded on December 8, 2023 at Seattle’s legendary record store, and it features McKagan and his band tearing through tracks from Duff’s latest studio album, Lighthouse, in the intimate confines of the neighborhood record shop.
