Cardi B shared a personal health update on Instagram on Wednesday (October 23) where the rap superstar revealed that she has recently been hospitalized due to an undisclosed medical emergency. That ailment has caused Cardi to subsequently cancel her upcoming headlining appearance at the ONE MusicFest in Atlanta this weekend. “I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at ONE MusicFest,” Cardi wrote. “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang — thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon.” ONE Music Fest sent out their own Instagram announcement of the cancellation, encouraging Cardi’s fans to “keep her in our prayers for a full recovery!
