During a solo performance at the Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch, New Zealand on Wednesday (October 23), Thom Yorke performed a brand new song and unearthed some rarely played deep cuts from his solo and Radiohead catalogs. It was Yorke’s first show of the Australasian leg of his rare solo Everything Tour, and he used the special occasion to premiere a new song called “Back in the Game,” which is apparently a collaboration with the electronic music artist Mark Pritchard. Yorke’s Christchurch set featured acoustic renditions of Radiohead classics, solo cuts, and side project tunes, while the singer also dusted off some live rarities. Yorke’s Everything Tour runs through November, as the singer has more shows scheduled in New Zealand and Australia before dates in Singapore and Japan. (Rolling Stone)
