On Tuesday night (October 15th), Talking Heads got back together again in order to present a Jeopardy! category dedicated to the band. The clues were rather straightforward for anyone with decent knowledge of the legendary new wave rock band, including the venue where Talking Heads played their first show, the director of Stop Making Sense, and naming the group’s biggest hit. This game show appearance continues a year-long reunion of sorts for the band, with the quartet showing up together at a series of celebratory events tied to the 40th anniversary of their historic concert film, Stop Making Sense, which was released back in 1984. In September of 2023, all four members of Talking Heads appeared onstage together for the first time since 2002 for a Stop Making Sense panel at the Toronto International Film Festival, which led to an unsuccessful attempt by Live Nation to get the band to play a reunion set at Coachella 2024.
