Megan Thee Stallion Releasing ‘In Her Words’ Documentary On “Hottieween”

Megan Thee Stallion took to Instagram on Monday (October 14) to announce the upcoming release of her first-ever documentary, In Her Words. The music film premieres on Prime Video on October 31, timed perfectly to coincide with Meg’s annual Hottieween celebration. “Hotties my documentary is out Oct 31st💜 I’m nervous and excited for yall to see it butttt it’s finally here 🥹,” Megan captioned her post, which also shared the promotional image from the documentary featuring the subtitles, “Her Story. Her Life.” In Her Words was directed by Nneka Onuorah, who previously helmed the Lizzo series Watch Out for the Big Grrrls and the Nigerian LGTBQ+ documentary, The Legend of the Underground. A synopsis for the film promises “unprecedented access to the multi-faceted woman behind the persona,” as it captures “the Houston native’s journey on the road to stardom as she tenaciously navigates fame, grief, pressure, and success.” (Rolling Stone)
