John Mulaney will host a new weekly live variety talk show on Netflix, slated for a 2025 debut. The series will take inspiration from his previous limited run of live shows, John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA, which featured non-topical topics and celebrity panels, along with sketches, interstitials, human-interest pieces, robotic refreshment delivery, musical performances, and viewer call-ins. “I was there at a couple of the tapings, and it was so bold and original and fresh and unprecedented, unpredictable,” Netflix chief content officer Bela Bajaria said yesterday as he announced the series. “And I think it’ll be really fun to get to do a live show with him.
