Before Mötley Crüe’s first show as part of their Höllywood Takeöver tour of intimate Los Angeles clubs, a garbage truck fittingly dumped the band out on the Sunset Strip before their show at the Troubadour on Monday (October 7). The garbage truck pulled up in front of fans lined up outside of the Troubadour, and dumped out bags of trash and a dirty mattress – along with Crüe drummer Tommy Lee – onto the Sunset Strip. Other members of the band eventually jumped down from the back of the truck to greet their shocked fans. The band shared video footage of their hilarious pre-show shenanigans on Instagram on Tuesday, which also contains clips of the Crüe tearing things up live on the Troubadour’s tiny stage. Mötley Crüe’s Höllywood Takeöver continued on Wednesday night (October 9) with a sold-out show at the Roxy, and finishes up on Friday (October 11) at the legendary Whisky a Go Go.
