A crossover episode between Abbott Elementary and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is currently in production, as confirmed by It’s Always Sunny creator Rob McElhenney sharing photos of both casts in front of the Abbott school set. The episode, set to air in Abbott’s upcoming fourth season will feature McElhenney, Charlie Day, Tyler James Williams, William Stanford Davis, and Danny DeVito, connecting the two contemporary Philadelphia-based comedies — that both air on Disney-owned platforms. It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia was recently renewed for two more seasons following its 16th season on FXX. (UPI)
