Deadpool & Wolverine reclaimed the top spot at the box office in its fifth weekend, earning another $18.3 million. The summer’s biggest hit is now nearing a total of $580 million (and over $1.2 billion globally). Alien: Romulus fell to second place with $16.2 million. It Ends With Us, featuring Blake Lively, secured third place with $11.9 million domestically, surpassing $120.8 million in North America and $242.6 million globally. Director Zoe Kravitz’s new thriller Blink Twice, starring Channing Tatum, opened in fourth with $7.3 million, while the faith-based film The Forge debuted in fifth place with $6.6 million. The weekend’s most notable new release, the remake of The Crow starring Bill Skarsgård, bombed — opening all the way down at No. 8 with just $4.6 million. (Variety)
