The NFL has chosen Anitta to headline the halftime performance at its first-ever game in South America on September 6th, when the Green Bay Packers will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in São Paulo, Brazil. “Growing up in Brazil has completely shaped my journey as an artist and of course, as a person,” she said in a statement. “It means everything to be able to perform in São Paulo at the NFL’s first game in Brazil, where I can bring fans around the world the excitement and joy of our amazing culture. It’s really a dream come true to be a part of this moment.” The NFL has also organized a fan festival and watch parties in São Paulo. The performance will be available for U.S. viewers on NBC Peacock and the NFL’s YouTube channel. Anitta will also launch a fashion collaboration with the NFL, available for purchase starting September 1st. (Variety)
