Streaming reached a record high of 40.3% of total TV use in the U.S. in June 2024, according to Nielsen data. This surpasses all previous records, with traditional broadcast at 20.5% and cable at 27.2%. Netflix leads the charge in episodic television, boasting the top two titles of the month with Bridgerton at 9.3 billion viewing minutes and Your Honor with 7.5 billion minutes. Other noteworthy titles last month included The Boys, with 4 billion minutes on Amazon Prime Video, and House Of The Dragon with 3.4 billion minutes on Max. Netflix was the most-watched traditional streaming service with 8.4% of all viewership, but YouTube outranked it with 9.9%. (Variety)
