The Garfield Movie claimed the top spot at the weekend box office, garnering an estimated $14 million domestically and reaching $51.6 million in total. John Krasinski’s film IF secured second place with $10.8 million, narrowly ahead of Furiosa, which took a steep 59% decline to earn $10.75 million and land in third place. The Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes took the fourth spot domestically with $8.8 million, and an additional $15.2 million from international markets, making it the top-grossing summer title so far with a worldwide total of $337.1 million. The Fall Guy rounded out the top five, earning $4.2 million in its fifth weekend. (Variety)
