Chris Evans addressed misinformation surrounding a photo that resurfaced of him allegedly signing an Israeli bomb. The Captain America star clarified on his Instagram Story that the image was from a 2016 USO tour. “The object I was asked to sign was not a bomb, or a missile, or a weapon of any kind. It’s an inert object used for training or display purposes only,” he wrote. The photo depicted Evans signing a missile-shaped training aid held by a U.S. Air Force officer. Despite speculation on social media linking it to Gaza conflict, AFP Fact Check confirmed the photo was taken in Turkey. Evans was part of a group that included his Avengers co-star Scarlett Johansson. (EW)
