Madonna's Celebration Tour recently stopped in Toronto at Scotiabank Arena, where the Material Girl commited a dreaded superstar sin. “Hello, Boston,” she greeted the audience, before catching herself and apologizing. (She had just come from a two-night stop in Boston.) “Are you guys mad at me ’cause I said ‘Hello, Boston!’?” she asked the crowd. “I’m sorry. What kind of f—ed up s— is that? That would be like if you guys were saying, ‘Hey, Lady Gaga’s playing tonight!' I wouldn’t like that. I mean, you know, nothing against Lady Gaga. Love her. I do! I love anyone shorter than me.”
