Elvis Presley will return to the stage as a hologram in a new show that promises to blur “the lines between reality and fantasy.” Elvis Evolution, which is being billed as an “immersive concert experience” that uses holographic projection and AI technology, is scheduled to open in London in November. According to the show's website, a life-sized digital version of Elvis will perform his classic hits (and dance moves) in an as-yet-unannounced venue, which will then “host an After Party at its ELVIS-themed restaurant and bar with live music.” When its run in London is complete, Elvis Evolution will then travel to Las Vegas, Tokyo, and Berlin. A similar show with ABBA is also playing in London.
