Selena Gomez revealed over the weekend that she broke her hand, and has now explained how it happened in a new interview. “I wish I had like a really cool story that I saved someone's life or something,” she said during a radio appearance. “But I was in a long dress, a summer dress, and I was walking from my car to my house and tripped.” The host remarked that Gomez should at least be glad that she didn't break her teeth in the incident and she agreed. “I guess there is a silver lining,” Selena jokes. “But this is not fun, this is not fun,” she added while waving her soft cast at the cameras in the room. She first revealed the injury while responding on Instagram to a fan who claimed that she was just releasing 'Single Soon' for sales. “Broke my hand and had surgery. I don't care about selling anything,” she wrote in the comments under the post. “I’m just happy to make music with my friends.”
