Avenged Sevenfold have switched up the timeline for the release of their next studio album, and while it won't be ready for a summer release, as the band had previously mentioned, it now looks like late this year or early 2023. During a recent appearance on The Bob Lefsetz Podcast, M. Shadows said, “We're going to figure out if it's the first quarter, or fourth quarter, or what we're going to do . . . and then we're going to be booking tours, put the tickets on sale when the record comes out, and the whole nine yards.”
You may recall that in July of last year, Shadows said they wouldn't release the new project during the pandemic because they wanted to be able to tour in support of it.
This will be Avenged Sevenfold's followup to their 2016 album, The Stage.
