- A new Ringo Starr virtual exhibit kicks off at the Grammy Museum on Thursday (March 4th). Rolling Stone reported, “The museum will release a 2010 interview with Starr from their Live From the Vault series, followed by a new interview with the museum’s founding executive director Bob Santelli on March 18th. Starr will discuss his upcoming EP Zoom In and his new book Ringo Rocks: 30 Years Of The All Starrs: 1989-2019.”
- Fans will also be able to access the museum's 2013 exhibit Peace & Love, which spans the entirely of Ringo's life and career from his earliest bands in Liverpool, the Beatles, to the present day. (Rolling Stone)
- With any luck by the end of 2021, the Doobie Brothers' one-time house in San Jose, California will be marked a California Historical Landmark. The current owners of the house at 285 S. 12th St. in the city's Naglee Park neighborhood have submitted a proposal to the Historic Landmarks Commission and await the final approval by the City Council.
- The band's co-founders, guitarist Tom Johnston and drummer John Hartman lived in the house between 1971 and 1973. (NBC Bay Area)
- Beach Boys Mike Love, Alan Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks, have teamed up for a charity re-recording of the band's 1970 classic, “Add Some Music To Your Day.” The song — billed to California Music — was originally featured on the band's 1970 Sunflower album and marked the group's first single of the 1970's, with the new version benefiting Feeding America.
- Also joining the group for the remake and accompanying video are Brian Wilson's daughters Carnie and Wendy Wilson, Carnie's daughter and husband Lola and Rob Bonfiglio, Carl Wilson's son Justyn Wilson, Mike Love's son Christian Love, Al Jardine's son Matt Jardine, along with longtime Beach Boys sideman Jeff Foskett.
