Britney Spears is getting a little help from the ACLU amid her battle with dad Jamie Spears about his conservatorship over her.
The 38-year-old singer has filed new papers to end her dad’s conservatorship, according to her attorney, Samuel D. Ingham III.
Now, the ACLU is offering their services, should Britney need them. “People with disabilities have a right to lead self-directed lives and retain their civil rights,” the organization wrote on Twitter. “If Britney Spears wants to regain her civil liberties and get out of her conservatorship, we are here to help her.”
