- Def Leppard and ZZ Top are teaming up for a 16-date fall arena tour. Leppard will be on the road throughout the spring and summer with Motley Crue, Poison, and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. ZZ Top will be on the road around the same time — including a string of joint dates with Cheap Trick on the books.

- Set for release on March 31st are four albums featuring long out-of-print material by Duane and Gregg Allman. Coming to CD are the Allman Joys' 1966 self-tiled collection; the brothers' next band's two albums as Hour Glass — 1967's Hour Glass and 1968's Power Of Love, along with Duane & Gregg's self-titled set, which features a September 1968 recording session for Scott Boyer, David Brown, and Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks' band the 31st of February. - Rolling Stone confirmed that original master tapes and other recordings belonging to Elton John, Nirvana, Peter Frampton, R.E.M., Bryan Adams, and others were among those destroyed, lost, or damaged in a 2008 fire at a Universal Music Group vault. According to court documents obtained by the magazine, other artists whose work was damaged or destroyed includes Jimmy Eat World, Les Paul, Michael McDonald, Slayer, Sonic Youth, Suzanne Vega, the Surfaris, White Zombie, and Y&T, among others. - Kiss is set to perform on the season two finale of of NBC's America's Got Talent: The Champions on Monday, February 17th. Kiss is squeezing in the performance between gigs on February 16th in Fort Wayne, Indiana and February 18th in Springfield, Missouri. America's Got Talent: The Champions airs on NBC at 8 p.m. ET. - Coming on March 20th from the Grateful Dead is the 15-CD boxed set, titled, June 1976. The collection features five previously unreleased shows from that spring tour: Boston Music Hall, Boston MA (6/10/76 and 6/11/76); Beacon Theatre, New York, NY (6/14/76 and 6/15/76); and Capitol Theatre, Passaic, NJ (6/19/76).
