Fans across the UK and Europe will not be seeing Neil Young on the road next summer. The veteran musician has canceled all of his planned 2026 tour dates across the region, ending a run that was set to stretch from June into July.
The decision was shared through a statement posted to Young’s official archives site, where he explained that stepping away from the tour felt necessary at this time. He apologized directly to ticket holders and acknowledged the disappointment, while stopping short of offering further details.
The canceled schedule included arena shows and festival appearances throughout England, Ireland, Scotland, France, and Italy. The tour was planned with his current backing band, the Chrome Hearts, following a stretch of live performances in recent years.
