Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 dominated weekend box office results, earning $63 million domestically to set a new record for post-Thanksgiving debuts. It earned another $46.1 million across 76 territories, pushing the global total to $109 million against a $36 million production budget. That’s despite a 13 percent Rotten Tomatoes score (compared to the original’s 33 percent). Zootopia 2 secured second place during its third weekend, adding $43 million and reaching $220.6 million domestically. Wicked: For Good dropped 73 percent in weekend three, collecting $16.8 million. GKIDS’ anime release Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution debuted fourth with $10 million in North America. Now You See Me: Now You Don’t rounded out the top five with $3.5 million domestically and passing $200 million in total worldwide revenue. (Story URL)
