Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers will write and star in an untitled comedy for Searchlight Pictures inspired by the Search Engine podcast episode “Why didn’t Chris and Dan get into Berghain?” The story follows two Americans attempting to gain entry into Berlin’s exclusive Berghain nightclub. The duo previously collaborated on Searchlight’s Fire Island in 2022. Yang, a five-time Emmy nominee from Saturday Night Live, currently stars in Wicked: For Good and will voice a character in Warner Bros.’ The Cat in the Hat. Rogers recently appeared in No Good Deed and Good Fortune while writing for series including The Other Two. They also host the hit podcast Las Culturistas. (Story URL)
