Detroit music legends Eminem and Jack White shared the stage for the first time during the Detroit Lions’ Thanksgiving Day halftime show at Ford Field, an event co-executive produced by the rap superstar and his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg. White performed a seven-minute set that included the arena anthem, “Seven Nation Army,” and “That’s How I’m Feeling,” while Eminem surprised the crowd by joining midway for a mashup of his “Till I Collapse” with the White Stripes’ “Hello Operator.” The performance celebrated Detroit’s rich musical heritage, while coinciding with White’s recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction and the tenth anniversary of his Third Man Records. The show also launched a new three-year partnership involving the Lions and Eminem’s team, with the live halftime collaboration released immediately after the performance on all streaming platforms, along with limited edition event merchandise from both artists. Grammy-winning Detroit native CeCe Winans added to the hometown pride by singing the National Anthem before the game. (Billboard)
