German actor Udo Kier, known for his work with Andy Warhol, Lars von Trier and Madonna, died Sunday in Palm Springs, his partner Delbert McBride confirmed. He was 81. Director Gus Van Sant introduced Kier to U.S. audiences with My Own Private Idaho in 1991. Kier also collaborated with von Trier on Breaking the Waves, Dogville and Melancholia. (Story URL)
President Trump reportedly asked Paramount to revive the Rush Hour film series if the studio wins the bidding war for Warner Bros. Discovery. Semafor said Trump “personally pressed” Paramount owners the Ellison family, who are his friends, to prioritize a new installment. Warner Bros.
