President Trump reportedly asked Paramount to revive the Rush Hour film series if the studio wins the bidding war for Warner Bros. Discovery. Semafor said Trump “personally pressed” Paramount owners the Ellison family, who are his friends, to prioritize a new installment. Warner Bros. The 57-year-old Bravo host was presenting a segment featuring young holiday bakers when he accidentally dropped several cupcakes made by 14-year-old Finlay from Virginia. Olivia Yacé of Côte d’Ivoire has stepped down as Miss Universe Africa and Oceania, days after finishing in the top five at Miss Universe 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand. In a Nov. 24 Instagram post, Yacé said she was resigning “with a heart full of gratitude and profound respect,” citing her commitment to values of respect, dignity, excellence, and equal opportunity. Burt Meyer, the toy designer behind Lite-Brite and Rock ’Em Sock ’Em Robots, has died at age 99. His son, Steve Meyer, confirmed his death on Oct. 30 to The New York Times. Burt also developed Mouse Trap, Toss Across, Pretty Pretty Princess, and Catch Phrase. He is survived by three children, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. (Story URL)

Rupert Grint says he wrote a letter to Alastair Stout, the actor cast as Ron Weasley in HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series. Grint said the note wished Stout “all the best” and symbolically “passed the baton.” The British actor, who first played Ron at age 11, called it “quite strange to have the cycle happening again” but said he was curious about the new version.
