TNT will broadcast all 15 episodes of HBO Max’s Emmy-winning medical drama The Pitt without edits starting December 1st. The cable network will preserve all graphic medical imagery and nudity from the original streaming version. TNT stated the decision aligns with the show’s “core mission to accurately depict the realities of an emergency department.” The network will include content advisories at episode beginnings and after commercial breaks. Three episodes will air weekly through December 29th. Executive producer John Wells said “We’re also very grateful to TNT for allowing the series to be shown as it was initially shot and aired on HBO Max.” The series stars Noah Wyle as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch and won five Emmy Awards including outstanding drama series. Season 2 premieres on HBO Max in January. The show reached 20 million global viewers per episode. (Story URL)
