The first trailer for Michael, the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, has shattered records by becoming the most-watched music biopic preview in history. Released November 6th, the trailer garnered over 116.2 million global views in its first 24 hours. This also marks Lionsgate’s most-viewed movie trailer ever. Jaafar Jackson, the King of Pop’s real-life nephew, stars as Michael Jackson alongside Oscar nominee Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson. The cast includes Miles Teller as attorney John Branca, Kat Graham as Diana Ross, and Nia Long as Katherine Jackson. The film arrives in theaters April 24, 2026.
