The Beatles have previewed their upcoming Anthology 4 collection with an unreleased version of the Help! classic, “I’ve Just Seen a Face,” recorded in June 1965 at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. This previously unheard version captures the Fab Four’s raw studio energy, including John Lennon‘s playful commentary, as you hear him joking that “Lonnie’s gonna regret not singing this one,” a reference to Scottish skiffle singer Lonnie Donegan, who greatly influenced the band. Set for release on November 21, Anthology 4 features 36 tracks, including 13 unreleased outtakes and demos like versions of “In My Life,” “Nowhere Man,” and “If I Fell,” plus a BBC rehearsal of “All You Need Is Love” and new 2025 mixes of “Free as a Bird” and “Real Love.” The collection will be accompanied by a restored nine-part Anthology documentary premiering on November 26 on Disney+, with all four Anthology volumes also available as a comprehensive 12-LP vinyl box set and an 8-CD package, as well as digital formats.
