On Tuesday (September 30), the BBC released the official trailer for the previously pulled documentary, Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, which is now set to premiere on October 2 via BBC One and iPlayer. Filmed over three years, the hour-long special offers intimate access to Ozzy and Sharon as they plan their return to the UK, featuring personal family moments with their kids Jack and Kelly, while capturing Ozzy’s health struggles and his final performance at the Back to the Beginning concert. Originally scheduled to air in August, the documentary was delayed out of respect for the Osbourne family following Ozzy’s death on July 22. The BBC’s Clare Sillery says she hopes the film “brings comfort and joy to Ozzy’s fans and viewers as they remember and celebrate his extraordinary life.” The BBC’s film will be followed on October 7 by the premiere of Paramount+’s Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape from Now, a two-hour documentary about the heavy metal icon’s final six years.
