At the final London show of Oasis’ 2025 U.K. reunion tour on Sunday night (September 28), frontman Liam Gallagher hinted at potential plans for 2026 by telling fans, “See you next year!” before the band performed their set-closing classic tune, “Champagne Supernova.” Prior to this teasing announcement, the band has remained tight-lipped about their future plans beyond the reunion tour, which continues with international dates next month in Japan, Australia, and South America. The only confirmed upcoming project for the Britpop legends is an as-yet-untitled film about the Oasis Live ‘25 reunion tour, which is set to be produced by Peaky Blinders creator/writer Steven Knight, and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who helmed the celebrated 2012 LCD Soundsystem concert film, Shut Up and Play the Hits. An official release date for the project has yet to be announced. (Rolling Stone)
