In a new interview with Las Vegas Review-Journal published to coincide with the launch of Mötley Crüe’s Las Vegas residency on Friday night (September 12), singer Vince Neil revealed he suffered a debilitating stroke on Christmas night 2024. The incident left his entire left side paralyzed, forcing him to relearn how to walk and defy doctors’ expectations that he’d never perform again. “It’s like a full-time job getting back to where you feel good again,” Neil said of his grueling rehabilitation. “It takes a while to get your brain to start moving your legs. You try to walk but it doesn’t come out right.” Neil shared that he currently feels “90-95% back to where I was before,” and added that he is “going to push through the best I can” during the band’s 10-show Vegas residency, which continues through October 3 at Dolby Live at Park MGM.
