On Wednesday (August 27), Fall Out Boy announced the details of a 20th anniversary reissue of their 2005 breakthrough album, From Under the Cork Tree, which is set to be released on October 17th in multiple formats including a 3LP Deluxe Box Set and a 2CD Deluxe Set. “This record changed our lives forever,” the band wrote on Instagram. “It’s wild to still be singing these songs together 20 years later & even better that you’re still singing them back.” The expanded edition features newly remastered original tracks like “Sugar We’re Going Down” and “Dance Dance,” along with unreleased alternate and acoustic versions, remixes, B-sides, instrumentals, and live BBC Radio performances. The set also includes a bonus cover of Gorilla Biscuits’ “Start Today,” which was exclusively included in the 2005 video game Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland. The band is offering special anniversary merch affiliated with the release, and will headline the closing night of the Oceans Calling festival in Maryland on September 28. (Consequence of Sound)
