A significant police operation outside a Dead & Company concert in San Francisco resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of nitrous oxide tanks and balloons, disrupting plans for an extra buzz among attendees. Police officers came across a truck outside Golden Gate Park containing approximately 100 nitrous oxide tanks and balloons “prepared for suspected drug use.” Upon further investigation, the officers arrested 32-year-old Thomas Siderio, who was booked for the distribution or dispensing of nitrous oxide and possession of nitrous oxide with the intent to ingest for intoxication. The incident occurred during a three-day celebration from August 1st to August 3rd at Golden Gate Park, where Dead & Company performed as part of the Grateful Dead’s 60th anniversary concert series.
