Thousands of fans gathered in Birmingham, England, on Wednesday (July 30) to honor Ozzy Osbourne during the funeral procession for the heavy metal icon. Ozzy’s grieving family also made an emotional appearance, as his wife Sharon Osbourne and their children Jack, Kelly, and Aimee, took a moment to lay some flowers down at the massive fan memorial that fills Black Sabbath Bridge in the heart of the city. Led by the local brass band, Bostin’ Brass, who played a series of Black Sabbath and Ozzy classics like “Iron Man” and “Crazy Train,” the procession saw Sharon overcome with tears as she was comforted by her children amid supportive cheers from fans. Ozzy, who died at the age of 76 on July 22 just 17 days after his memorable final performances at the Back to the Beginning benefit concert, will be laid to rest in a private funeral with details yet to be announced.
