In its second weekend, the superhero blockbuster Superman maintained its box office dominance, earning $57.3 million. The comic book adaptation has amassed $236 million domestically and $406 million globally. Holding the second spot was Jurassic World Rebirth, which collected $23 million after three weekends, totaling $276 million domestically and $647 million worldwide – one of only three Hollywood films to exceed $600 million in 2025. The slasher sequel I Know What You Did Last Summer opened at third place with $13 million, below projections (but it only cost $18 million to make). The $58 million-budgeted musical Smurfs disappointed with an $11 million debut, while Apple’s F1 rounded out the top five with $9.6 million in its fourth weekend. (Variety)
